We transformed a bare, rocky front yard with sparse weeds and exposed tree roots into a clean, welcoming garden entrance. A curved stone pathway leads through ground cover, shrubs, and flowering plants on fine topsoil and garden mulch. The overall design contributes to a clean and well-kept garden for the oncoming seasons. The cobalt-blue statement pot adds a splash of colour, complementing the red Japanese maple and contrasting with the warm tones of the garden. Garden design by Catherine Phillips of Nook Gardens
